Check the structured data on any page
Enter a page address and the checker reads every JSON-LD block on it, lists each schema item it finds and validates it against the properties search engines look for. Errors mean a required property is missing. Warnings mean a recommended property would make the markup stronger.
Reading the results
- Valid: the item has every required and recommended property we check.
- Warnings: eligible in principle, but missing details that improve results.
- Errors: missing a required property, so the markup may be ignored.
Common problems
Invalid JSON
A stray comma or unescaped quote makes the whole block unreadable. The checker shows the parse error so you can find it.
Missing @context
Every block needs "@context": "https://schema.org".
Markup does not match the page
The text in your markup must appear on the page. Search engines compare them.
Microdata and RDFa
If the page uses microdata instead of JSON-LD, the checker lists the types it finds. JSON-LD is the format Google recommends, and easier to maintain.
