Links break when pages move, sites close or typos slip in.
Why it matters
Visitors lose trust, and crawlers waste time on dead ends.
Find them
Scan your posts for links, then check each unique address for errors. Group the results by page so you fix one post at a time.
Fix them
- Typo: correct the address.
- Moved page: link to the new address.
- Gone for good: remove the link or point to an alternative.
Your own pages
If one of your own addresses changed, add a 301 redirect so old links keep working.
